RED BULL RACING: ISTANBUL PROMOTION

Returning to Turkey after a nine-year break and held in Istanbul on 13-14-15 November, a promotional film was shot in the historical peninsula in Istanbul for the F1 Turkey Grand Prix.

Gasly and Albon's tour of Istanbul started from Sultahahmet Square. The two pilots then passed through Kuruçeşme, Arnavutköy, Eurasia Tunnel, Kennedy Avenue and Galata Bridge and arrived at the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, which is driven by about 150 thousand vehicles a day.

Touring the most special points of Istanbul with Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri Formula 1 cars, world-famous pilots Pierre Gasly of Scuderia AlphaTauri Team and Alexander Albon of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing completed their spectacular show after the world's first pitstop between the two continents.

Holding the fastest pit stop record in Formula 1 history with 1.82 seconds, the Red Bull Racing team made pit stops on both cars in the middle of the bridge.

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing driver Alexander Albon, who was behind the wheel for the show that made Istanbul's unique beauty known to the whole world, said: “Driving around the city streets in Formula 1 was a challenging but fun experience.”

Drawing attention to the importance of his experience in the promotional film, AlphaTauri driver Pierre Gasly said: “Driving a Formula 1 car in Istanbul was great, especially moving from continent to continent on the bridge.”
